Excellent top quality arable land makes up 75ha of the 196ha. There is a borehole and a fountain with fine quality sweet water.

The accommodation consists of the main historic 1960's sandstone house, a rondavel, a chalet and a cottage, a big sandstone store and stables. The historical sandstone main house has oregon pine floors and oregon pine ceilings throughout the whole house. It has 3 bedrooms, one with a fireplace, 2 en-suite bathrooms. Open plan living area consisting of a large lounge, a beautiful large fireplace , dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, cupboards etc. The kitchen has tiled floors and there is a swedish stove to warm the house. Behind the kitchen Is a scullery with entrance to a wooden deck. The main house has a spacious stunning wrap-around veranda which features unique sandstone pillars and has a built-in braai.

The 1960s sandstone house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, large lounge and dining room with a big fireplace and has a veranda and outside braai. All 3 cottages have a fireplace, a bathroom, a kitchen , lounge and outside braai.

The big sandstone store consisting of: 2 garages, workplace, a large size room with an attic and a cold room. For the workers there is a shower with hot and cold water and two toilets. There are stables for up to 12 horses. Additional water : a brick dam.

Fouriesburg is situated in the Brandwater Basin, south of Bethlehem, and offers you the fantastic scenery of the Red Mountains, the White Mountains, the Maluti Mountains, the splendid Golden Gate National Park and many historic sites from the Anglo-Boer War. It is ideal for out-door activities, such as hiking, horse riding, fishing, hunting, 4x4, quad biking and abseiling, but for those who just want to relax it is also the place to be.

For the more adventurous 4x4 lovers there is the challenge of the daring trip to Sani Pass. We also offer horse riding on the farm or in the area. Arrangements have to be made in advance.

Annual events in Fouriesburg are the Asparagus festival in September / October and the Surrender Hill marathon, a classifier for the Comrades marathon, and the Cherry festival in Ficksburg in November.
